Applications are now open for the FuSEP Summer Exchange Program 2026 in China! This is a transformative 6-week funded opportunity for brilliant undergraduate and graduate students to spend their summer conducting research at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
βKnown as the βCradle of Creative Minds,β USTC invites young scientists from around the world to Hefei to work on challenging research projects, attend lectures, and explore Chinese culture. This program is designed to foster cross-cultural collaboration and provide hands-on experience in state-of-the-art laboratories.

The FuSEP program offers generous support to ensure a worry-free experience for participants:
- Tuition Waiver: Full coverage of tuition fees for the duration of the program.
- Accommodation: Free on-campus housing is provided.
- Registration Fee: The program registration fee is completely waived.
- Travel Allowance: A travel allowance and meal plan are available for selected outstanding students.
- Certification: Participants receive a Certificate of Participation upon completion.
- Future Priority: Outstanding participants who apply for USTC degree programs later will receive priority for scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria
This program is open to students globally who are eager to explore science and technology:
- Student Status: Must be a full-time registered undergraduate or graduate student at your home university.
- Academic Record: Must have good academic scores and a strong interest in research.
- Language: Must have a good knowledge of English (as the program is conducted in English).

- Suggest up to two supervisors you wish to work with (or find one in your field if not listed).
- Complete the online form with your personal details, study status, and current location.

- One Recommendation Letter.
- Passport Data Page.
- Personal Statement (explaining your research interests).
