Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must meet these strict requirements:

  • Nationality: You must be a national of a World Bank Member Developing Country (see full list below).
  • Education: You must hold a Bachelor’s degree (obtained at least 3 years before applying).
  • Experience: You must have 3+ years of paid development-related work experience after your degree.
  • No Dual Citizenship: You cannot hold dual citizenship of a developed country.
  • Health: You must be in good health.

How to Apply

The application is online and requires careful preparation:

  1. Choose a participating Master’s program (from the official JJ/WBGSP list).
  2. Secure an Unconditional Letter of Admission from that university (required for the application).
  3. Complete the online application form.
  4. Upload Two Professional Reference Letters.
  5. Submit your CV, Bachelor's Diploma, and proof of work experience.
