This year’s theme, “Biological interactions from genes to ecosystems”, focuses on understanding

how living organisms interact across different biological scales — from molecular mechanisms to

ecosystem-level processes.

Tulip Summer School is a one-week intensive research-oriented program designed to bring together

master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers working in

Biology, Ecology, and related fields.

Participants will attend lectures, seminars, and hands-on workshops guided by experienced

international researchers.

The summer school will be hosted at the

Centre de Montagne de Germ Louron, a peaceful research-friendly location in the

French Pyrenees that provides an ideal environment for learning, collaboration, and academic exchange.

Program Structure

Each day of the Tulip Summer School includes two to three scientific presentations during the

senior researchers.

Throughout the program, participants will collaboratively develop a group research project proposal.

At the end of the summer school, each group will present their research project to fellow

participants and supervisors.
