This policy explains what ScholarshipHub collects, why, and what control you have over it.
Information we collect
- Account details. If you create an account we store your name, email address and a hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.
- Newsletter subscriptions. Your email address, your name if you supply it, and the alert topics you choose.
- Usage analytics. Aggregate page and opportunity view counts, and the search terms entered on the site. We store a one-way hash of the IP address for abuse prevention, not the address itself.
- Messages. Anything you send through the contact or submission forms.
How we use it
To operate the site, to send the alerts you asked for, to prevent spam and abuse, and to understand which opportunities are useful so we can publish more like them. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies
We set a session cookie so you can stay signed in, and an optional "remember me" cookie if you ask us to. See our cookie policy for the full list.
Your choices
Every newsletter contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can update or delete your account from your dashboard, or email us to request deletion of any data we hold about you.
Third parties
Pages may load fonts and analytics from third-party providers. Those providers receive your IP address as a normal part of serving the request. Application links take you to the opportunity provider's own site, which has its own privacy policy.
