Applications are open for the ICYF Young Climate Volunteers Camp 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye! This is a funded international youth camp designed for young leaders to tackle climate-related social and humanitarian challenges. Organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), this 6-day program focuses on "Empowering Youth for Climate Action."
This is a unique volunteering opportunity that provides separate sessions for males and females to ensure a focused and comfortable learning environment. Participants will engage in both theoretical training and practical, project-based activities to learn how to respond to climate disasters.
Camp Benefits (Funded)
The host organization covers most of the expenses for selected participants:
- Accommodation & Food: Fully covered during the camp.
- Local Transport: Transportation within Istanbul is provided.
- International Travel Support: Reimbursement up to USD 250 for international flights.
- Domestic Travel Support: Reimbursement up to 3,500 TL for participants living in Türkiye.
- City Tour: A free tour of Istanbul is included.
- Visa Support: An official invitation letter will be provided.
- Certificate: A certificate of participation upon completion.
Camp Dates
The camp is divided into two separate sessions:
- Young Males: 03 – 08 April 2026
- Young Females: 10 – 15 April 2026
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
- Nationality: Citizens of OIC Member States, Observer States, or Muslim communities in non-OIC countries.
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
- Language: Ability to communicate in English.
- Experience: Previous experience in humanitarian or volunteer work is required (must provide proof).
